Thank you so much for allowing Wynslow (my crew) and I to sail at Ida Lewis. It was the second time I was able to attend this regatta. Sadly, it did not go as well as I had hoped. I had good starts and was fast on the water but I was just overthinking it and put a lot of pressure on myself to do well. This regatta helped me understand my limits and help me understand when I got into my own head. Even though we would have liked to have done better I took away life lessons that will help me in the long run. We had two days of a clinic with excellent breeze (12 knots) and great coaches, but sadly the regatta was light (7 knots or less).

I met some new friends and reunited with old ones. The coaches were extremely nice and supportive throughout the entire event. I am excited for the next Ida Lewis and will look to improve.
