Thank you for the opportunity to sail in the heavy weather clinic. The clinic was the most wind I had ever sailed in while sailing the C420. It was a big deal for me and my skipper. Prior to this event I had only sailed in regattas or practice in less than 14 knots. The wind was 20 to 24 knots every day in the clinic. I learned so much from the coaches and I would happily go through this experience again. My favorite part was the debriefs after sailing. The coaches allowed us to ask a lot of questions. I made a lot of new friends which I will sail with and against in the future. It was a great event and I appreciate the support of MSSF which allowed me to attend.
