Thank you so much for helping us attend the Junior Olympic Festival at Mission Bay Yacht Club. It was a great regatta, and we learned so much. On our practice day, we were able to speed test and race against a big fleet of our competitors, which was helpful. The first day of racing went well, and we had enough wind for crews to get out on the trap. However, as the wind died throughout the day, it got trickier to keep boatspeed up. A similar situation happened the next day as well, though we started in less breeze but did a better job adjusting our boat to keep our point and speed working for these conditions and figured out some better ways to deal with the chop we were getting. The last day was extremely light but it ended up being our best and we felt that we were doing a good job choosing sides and staying in the pressure, which helped a lot. Overall, this was an amazing learning experience.

Thank you so much to MSSF for helping us attend.
